Be open, honest and transparent.
Far too many sales leaders and Salespeople are not open and honest when dealing with their customers and/or clients attempting to secure a sale or contract. In most cases your customers/clients can see through fake comments and actions. I strongly encourage all #savvysalespeople to be open, honest and transparent. If you are unable to deliver the correct product or service to your client to meet their needs, inform them so. It will both enhance your reputation and build a strong bond that may well give you another opportunity to help them at another time. Sometimes short term pain will result in long term gain!!
