Know your key calendar dates.
As we rapidly approach the end of our financial year in Australia on June 30th the deadline sends a distinct and clear message about key dates in your sales universe. For example you may ask the following key questions.
Am I aware of my sales position to finish the financial year, (have I achieved my budget?) as this may affect salary review and bonus payout.
Have I set in place my key goals and objectives for the next financial year (planning).
Is my new budget in place? and have you had the chance to review/challenge and plan on how to achieve it?
How aware am I of key days and trends during the next year?
Finally, am I ready to hit the ground running on July 1st?
Failing to do any planning is like a ship on the water without a rudder…we will drift with the currents and miss key milestones required to succeed.
