On Wednesday this week, I had 2 meetings with organisations offering their products and services (both first introductions/meetings). How different both experiences were! The first was an amazing chat about my business, my needs and offering solutions that may be of interest in the future, a perfect sales call!!
With the second call, I was bombarded with opinion and suggestions on what I should be looking to purchase in the future and how I should be running my business! Absolutely no interest was shown in my current situation or future business needs!!
Far from a perfect Sales Call!!
Needless to say who I will be engaging when the purchase cycle arrives.
I find most people only buy from people they like! Most Savvy Salespeople will build relationships, uncover customer needs and sell against those needs...I ask you to think about your personal sales style.
